School Uniform Adam Thomas
We had to wear blazers at school but we were always told to put our collars down as we all would try and wear them up. Chris Geere
We had a very smart tie and blazer combo at school. I was also a prefect in year eleven so we got a different tie. I wore it to a party recently...
Christine Tremarco
I wore a bottle green uniform with a pink checked shirt - and I thought the colour was awful.
Denise Welch
I attended a convent school for a few years and the uniform was so strict and of course I always got it wrong. They used to put me in detention regularly for not wearing the hat. We had these straw boaters to wear and of course my school skirt was far to short for the nuns liking.
Jason Done
Black sweater, trousers, shoes with amber and black tie, but like most kids I liked to customise it in some way.
Jason Merrells
Dark blue blazer and tie.
Katie Griffiths
We had to wear black trousers or a skirt, white shirt and green jumper (yes it was lovely).
Lauren Drummond
My uniform was more of a fashion statement than a uniform! The actual uniform was meant to be a wooly V-neck jumper with a baggy white shirt and black straight (Boys) cut trousers with the school tie but then Topshop and Miss Sixty brought out the tight fitted shirts and hipsters and there was no looking back! The jumpers we wore were sold in Topshop as fitted tops yet we managed to squeeze our three quarter shirts underneath! Our teachers hit the roof! Me and my friend Holly were always getting pulled up and told this is not a fashion parade and to put our midriffs away! Tut tut!
Neil Morrissey
Grey, with a beetle green jumper and a purple tie with gold on it
Phillip Martin Brown
Blazer and a tie and a cap.
Tom Payne
My uniform was navy blue blazer, long trousers a white shirt and a maroon and blue tie. The school were quite strict and had to look smart. However, I was hopeless at tucking my shirt in and was constantly told off even when I got to the sixth form. By which time of course I was supposed to be setting an example.
