Bad Behaviour Adam Thomas
They made me stay behind after school every day for like a month, and the worst of it was that my mum agreed to it so I couldn't go home. Although I did once but mum sent me back to school - cheers mum! Chris Geere
I got one week's detention for mixing two chemicals that I knew would blow up. Sorry Miss Gillespie.

I was quite naughty at school but I think it was because I was very easily led. I played hooky one lunch time and I got caught by Sister Helen Marie crawling up Jesmond Bank. She was horrible to me.
Jason Merrells
I had my fair share of detention and I got the slipper and the cane a couple of times.

In primary some friends and I were caught trying to catch a bee's nest with sticks in the yard. Quite a dangerous thing to do, but we probably thought it was adventurous at the time.

No I wasn't naughty really. I just used to answer back if I was sure I was right and someone was trying to prove otherwise.

I was such a goody two shoes! I used to tell anyone who'd listen how I had never had a detention or a green slip! A green slip was a discipline system in our school whereby if you got three you'd get a detention and I'd saved myself for five years from detentions or green slips and then in my last week of school I rebelled and got two! Gutted! One was in PE with my three best friends, and we all decided to make our kits as geeky as possible, so we did all our buttons up to the top of our t-shirts, pulled our skirts up to our chest and pulled our socks up to our knees! Attractive! Our teacher didn't see the funny side! Also I was terrible with my chewing gum! In my French lesson I used to always sit in the same place and always stuck my chewing gum under the table and I would always forget and then cross my legs and it would stick to my trousers! It was my own fault; you'd think after I had done it once or twice I might have learnt. But I didnit!

I remember we sneaked a boy into school and the teacher even looked at him in the face and didn't realise. We told all the teachers at our leaving assembly.

I had the cane - 6 strokes, 3 on each hand. Sometimes twice in one day!
Phillip Martin Brown
I remember winding up a member of staff to breaking point and then taking photos of him. I had the cane more times than I care to remember.
