Episode 3.2
I am really enjoying the third series, the storylines are great, Karla is a great addition to the cast, portraying the difficulties children have to face when they have Asperger's syndrome. It may also help to give children a better understanding of the condition. My daughter had a friend at school with Asperger's, it was hard for her to make relationships like Karla's character, but she was extraordinarily intelligent as is Karla. I thought the storyline about the new lad Paul Langley was very realistic and very well acted by Thomas Milner, (he has come on a lot since his days in CITV's barking!)I really felt for the poor kid for what he was going through, I hope he is a regular addition to the series as it will be interesting to see how his character grows and changes throughout the series. Neil Morrissey is also a great addition to the series, his role as a caring deputy head is very convincing, propping up Jack Rimmer as he falls apart with all that he has been through. What on earth are Chlo and Brett getting up to?? I think her marriage to Donte might be as short lived as Britney's first one! Lewis Seddon, what can I say, his one liners are class, from rogue to responsible adult (sort of!) giving advice to the young ones, it was nice to see a different side to his character though. Well, Steph is up to her usual tricks, she has her sights set on the new teacher Matt but if my instincts are right, I think she is setting herself up for yet another disappointment, (I think Matt might bat for the other team, if you know what I mean!) Keep up the good work Waterloo Road, another excellent series. I can't wait until the next episode...

What a great start to one of the best shows on TV. Entertaining, funny and always different. The new deputy head fits in perfectly, a great cast but will miss a few of the teachers from the past series.

I love the programme, but the storyline on Asperger's Syndrome is concerning me. As I understand, Asperger's is a mild form of autism, which is difficult to detect in many sufferers. The girl in the programme, I would say, is severely autistic. My son is going through assessment for possible Asperger's, and is nothing like the character, and I don't want people to 'expect' that behaviour from him.

Waterloo road never ever failed to electrify me with excitement last season, and this new series is just as great - even though the teachers have changed a bit. What happened to Brett's dad? And I really miss Izzie!

Bit Worried about Karla, it's not accurate at how LEA's deal with Autistic Spectrum Disorders - My son has Asperger's but has Excellent Support in Bury Greater Manchester - this school is supposed to be in Greater Manchester - even in Fiction and is letting down Karla it is not a real example...
Mrs Taylor, Bury
So far, Season 3 is the best series yet. Neil Morrissey is utterly convincing as the new Deputy and the various 'in house' conflicts superbly realized. As an ex-teacher, my one regret is that I never worked for a sexy Head Teacher like Jack Rimmer - all the ones I knew were over the hill and hopeless!

So far it has been a letdown. Steph trying to get off with someone half her age. And Grantly moaning. It is just not the same without Andrew and Kim. The Brett and Chlo storyline is ridiculous. Izzie and Tom really livened up the show, without Izzie Tom is just annoying. My favourite character is Mika. I love the Mika and Brett story, but needless to say Chlo will ruin it!

I really really really really love the new series of waterloo road. I was sad to hear that Izzie was going to die at the end of the last series because I think that her and Tom made a lovely couple. Other great couples are Chlo and Donte and Brett and Mika, and I do hope that Brett and Mika sort everything out before the end of the series because they are great together. You have brought in some more great characters to the show. Please make another series because I cannot live without my fix of waterloo road on a Thursday.

What a load of tosh!!! As a teacher who has worked with SEN young people, your portrayal of school life bears so little resemblance to reality you might as well be showing Snow White. What a pantomime - to think that you can show this rubbish and pass it off as drama is an insult to young people, parents and teachers everywhere. I have two autistic children who were so badly let down by the system due to all the usual excuses that are no longer meant to exist but sadly do. I find this rubbish just too much to watch - for god sake get some balls and show it like it is - it may not be pleasant or make great 'lobotomy' drama but it would be more honest and respectful to the thousands of SEN young people struggling within the education system to get one tenth of the understanding, compassion and commitment your 'school' portrays. What your showing at the moment is just utter rubbish and so deceitful!!!!

I think that so far Waterloo Road is very good, Karla Bentham is particularly my favourite, the girl plays it really well, although there are some parts which make me want to break my TV, when the teacher has the exclusion Zone... Urghh I don't like him!

I enjoyed this up to the last series, but now it's so bad I don't think I can watch any more. As a teacher I know that even in the worst schools teachers do not behave in the unprofessional way depicted here. Intensive training is given on autism and Asperger's syndrome and a teacher like Grantly would be sacked for his attitude to the pupil concerned. The pupils are fairly typical but the staff is a caricature and does enormous harm to teachers' efforts in real schools. And one teaching assistant for the entire school - how ridiculous, plus staff going to pupils' homes and forcing their way in - couldn't happen. And please don't perpetuate the nonsense about teachers thinking that mixed ability classes are a good idea - that went out years ago. Get some proper advice on what happens in a real school and it will be so entertaining that you won't need to make up this rubbish.

Waterloo Road is one of the best shows on TV at the minute in my opinion! I love it. The only thing that I was disappointed with was that Izzie was killed off. She was brilliant on it! I have no doubt though that the show will continue to be just as good in the future. I'm rooting for Tom to come out on top with the girls and everything else! Keep it up... don't go packing it in anytime soon!!

I love this programme and can't wait for the third episode. It's even better than the last series and I think that this cast is fantastic. The new ones are great and the old are just as good - love Grantly. Think he's hilarious. Steph makes me laugh too. Loving your work guys. Keep it up.

I loved both the previous series, but perhaps people should stop cheating on their partners so much in this one... it's getting a bit repetitive. Other than that though, the hot new performing arts teacher is a definite positive. More of him please! And can Chlo and Donte please get an annulment or something because there's no way that marriage will work!
