Episode 3.1

Wow, what a start to the series! Fantastic introduction to the new characters - you've got me hooked, and it's great to see that Grantly is getting some juicy storylines this series - and that Steph Haydock is still herself!! Blissful watching! Hats off to Shed Media for the dealing with Asperger's Syndrome, it's great to see this being dealt with on television. I have a cousin, and brother-in-law with Asperger's, both of whom are unable to go to school at all, due to bullying, lack of specialist teachers, and, in some cases, the lack of care and incompetence from teachers and headmasters themselves. Well done, Shed, and thank you. Roll on Episode 2; and the rest of the series!

As a special education teacher from America who has been living in the UK now for a year, I was shocked by this episode of Waterloo Road. I certainly hope this isn't an accurate representation of schools here.

Great episode! Neil Morrissey is brilliant I think his character (Eddie) will bring a lot to Waterloo Road. All the other new characters seem interesting too. Sad to see the departure of Kim & Andrew and of course Izzie. Fantastic start to the new series!

I loved this episode. It was so well written and everyone who took part in the production and acting of this episode deserve a round of applause. This episode dealt with young marriage, Asperger's children and so much more. I have to say this will be one of my best loved episodes ever. Well done to Shed for making yet another excellent episode.

I really didn't expect Izzie to die, I expected her to pull through. It's not the same without her, Andrew and Kim. But also I hope Tom can be more of a father figure now since the girls need him more than ever. I also like the new characters and look forward to seeing what they get up to
Simeon, South East London

Not the same without Jill Halfpenny in it :( but hoping the action will get better!
Emma, Surrey

Absolutely brilliant. I have watched every single episode since the very start of series one. I was slightly upset by the series two ending though. Four original characters gone now? Keep it up!

Waterloo road rocks! It is the best programme ever I love it to bits. My favourite characters are Chlo and Donte, Chlo is really pretty and is one of my role models and Donte is just class! Series three is the best yet! Go Waterloo road!

I thought it was a well good episode. Can't believe that Kim and Andrew actually left though. Loved how Davina took Karla under her wing and I was well happy when Karla whacked Grantly with the chair!!!!! lol

I'm loving how series 3 has started, I cried!! I hope it gets better, well I know it will because I'm a big fan! Oh and can you Try and get Tom to have a girlfriend, because I worry about him and he's only a character!!

We have enjoyed the previous series of Waterloo Road. We watched the first episode of the new series, on playback, tonight. We sat watching in disbelief at the portrayal of how the teachers dealt with the girl with Asperger's. The scriptwriting, acting and direction were appalling and everyone involved should be ashamed of themselves. Such a ridiculous approach was disrespectful to teachers, to people with Asperger's, and to the viewing public. We will never watch this programme again.
Andy and Joanna, Kettering

The return of the third series was just as exciting as the second! I was upset that Andrew and Kim had left and that Izzie had died but the new deputy seems as though he will be competent in the role and I look forward to seeing more. I was on the edge of my seat as Tom rushed to the wedding and like the idea of a student with Asperger's Syndrome. Can't wait to see next week's episode!
