Episode 3.18
Just watched this week's episode. Waterloo Road seems to be getting better and better with every new series. I see Jack Rimmer is back next week, soooo happy about that!! I've really missed him being in it, but it looks like it's just a one off. Hopefully he might be back for good though.

It's a very interesting drama, but not particularly realistic...
1) Chloe for example in episode 3.15 (I think) weeks ago disapproved of Janeece relationship with her older teacher because of his age, yet the following episode Chloe went on a date with a Asian guy who was at least 10 yrs older than her!
2) In today's episode 3.18 (I think), the student facing deportation was from Iran, Iran is not Guantanamo bay! Women in Iran have much more freedom than the west would actually believe; the west thinks Iran is part of an axis of evil, its completely biased view. And her parents would rather keep her daughter attending a bog standard level of education at a failing comprehensive in the UK than return to Iran where she would actually receive a decent education!!!
3) Eddie Lawson at about 9.30am DURING SCHOOL HOURS leaves the school to confront the blackmailer!! I mean no teacher would do that during working hours. Absence without leave and the school had no staff cover for his absence!!!
4) The head teacher lies to protect the illegal immigrant and tries to stop deportation! No head teacher would do that! Head teachers never rock the boat!
5) Then the teachers mark Chloe's essays straight after the last school lesson! You can't mark an entire class's coursework assessments in 5mins!

This episode was very emotive and will have made many people very angry at the handling of the Sameen story - having teachers falsely upgrade marks!!!! A head teacher deliberately lying to the authorities - is this really how you want to portray head teachers - I don't think this sets a good example to pupils - Surely pupils would not have been allowed (in a real school) to gather outside the lock in room - if this is a portrayal of real incidents, with no discipline (they should have all been sent back to their class rooms) - no wonder the state education is in such a mess if this is typical of school behaviour today by both pupils and teachers.

Waterloo Road is one of the better series being screened at the moment. Although I miss Jack and would love him to return I am beginning to like Rachel. Neil Morrissey is wicked in his role, seems he has been at the School since the beginning. I think Steph is wonderful and the same goes for Grantley and Tom.

GO EDDIE!!! Hitting Stuart was the best part of this episode; hopefully he'll leave poor Rachel alone now. I don't like Davina but I feel really sorry for her when Tom snaps at her. I can't believe Sameen is gone, I cried my heart out when she got into that car. Poor Rachel she tried so hard to protect that girl, I wonder what she will do with Sameen's locket? This was one of the best episodes of this series. I can't wait for the next one.

However good tonight's episode was, it has now been blighted by the fact that Rimmer is back!!!!!!!!! With a nice new hairstyle. Although this episode was really good. Brilliant acting from Fiona Wade and great to see that Rachel wasn’t so annoying tonight. Well Done Shed!

I think its brill and my two children won't miss it for the world. Thought I would miss Jack but I don't, I really think Rachel is just as good. I hope Donte gets back with Chlo, and I do think Mika and Chlo could be a bit nicer to Tom.

Episode 18 was brilliant! Well done to all the cast and crew involved it was very well written and acted. Very moving had me in tears when Sameen was lead away. The actress who portrayed Sameen is very talented and should definitely be on TV again. The only downside was that Mika and Brett were not in it.

Loved yesterday's episode! I think it is important to address important issues such as immigration and I think you did it fantastically. Also loved Rachel and Eddie in this episode - them working together to get rid of Stuart Hordley, and when Eddie lost it and punched Stuart, as if he was protecting Rachel. Can't wait for next week, I didn't think we'd see Jack again!

Brilliant episode. I thought the immigration story line was fantastic. It was very well acted. I also loved how Eddie was more understanding of Rachel in this episode. Is it just me who sees something between them?

The line that had me laughing was by Stuart, 'I bet she gives it to you for free,' then Eddie socks Stuart!! About time too!! Stuart deserved that after blackmailing Rachel for weeks. Rachel was brilliant again and I get the feeling that she leant on her own past when she was talking to Sameen. She is just what Waterloo Road needs. She is caring, determined and passionate about the school and students. The Rachel and Eddie action was so cute. When are they going to get together?! The chemistry between them is electrifying and something has to happen soon.

I think Series 3 of waterloo road has been fantastic! Rachel is my 100% favourite character and I hope her and Eddie get together before the end of the series. Although I do think the storylines should have big events happening and stretching over an entire series, such as in a previous with the problems with Lorna, Izzie and Tom. I am already looking forward to Series 4 even though Series 3 hasn't finished yet!!

Excellent programme with great casting choices. I used to be a pupil at the school which features in Waterloo Road (Thornham Middle School), so it is pretty surreal to see my old school on TV. I recognised the roof scene in Episode 1 because I was always getting told to get off it.

Another great episode, a very present and dividing topic loved the way this was shown through the conflict between the staff members. Getting slightly confused as to who is in what year and which class though. When Mika thought she was pregnant she was sat next to Celine in class, yet last week Celine was in the year below with Donte, Chlo, Maxine and co. This week when Sameen told G&T students Aleesha and Danielle she was being deported Bolton was in the same class? Also where has the 6th form common room gone? This was used a lot in Series 2 and now that Donte, Maxine, Chlo and Janeece are in the 6th form as well as Mika and Brett there could be some comical scenes of them in the common room rather than them hanging about in corridors like they have been doing.
