Episode 3.14

I was very pleased when Karla was introduced, as people with Asperger's Syndrome have been unfairly portrayed in many TV dramas, but this is quite accurate. But I am disappointed at some of the reviews as many people still don't understand AS. My son is 15 and was diagnosed when he was 7. He's been very seriously let down by the education system and is now attending a specialist school. One lady comments about her son presently going through assessment for AS; she will come to learn through experience that Karla is quite typical but that there is such diversity within the presentations of AS that you cannot generalise. Many children have behaviour issues mainly brought about by frustration but others, like my son, internalise their frustrations and become very depressed and withdrawn. For anyone who wants to get more information or a better idea of what Asperger's Syndrome is I would suggest you look at the National Autistic Society's website which has some brilliant short films showing how misunderstandings can be made when dealing with people with AS. Like most things, we need more awareness and more tolerance and less generalisation.

Waterloo Road is the best programme on television at this moment in time. After watching last weeks episode I feel for Jasmine - she's such a sweet person, who would not do half the things she is being accused of! I hope we have her back teaching in the school very soon!

I'm a British girl currently overseas in Australia. I would like to respond to a comment made by Louise in the Ep 3.12 reviews: I also have Asperger's, and I would like to state that during my early teens - around 12/13 onwards, I was reading and writing well above the class average for English, and found I was very literal. I would like to point out that I got very stressed in examinations, too. And I think the 'Lord of the Dance' song was not there to point out she didn't like the same music, but that it was simply a song she knew the words too... Don't you know the words to "Lord of the Dance", I know I do - and I know that many 'normal' people do, too. I'm sorry to write this, but as an Asperger's person myself, I was quite offended. I personally found the character of Karla to be very well written and portrayed - in some ways, it is a reflection of my own life. Thank you to Waterloo Road & the team for this, it has bought me comfort and entertainment! And please do not let Tom and Davina split up!

What a great series this is. The humour is excellent! I look forward to watching it very week and gossip about it with my mates in lessons - probably not the best place to do it! Anyway keep the good work up, this programme has made me and many others very happy!

The new series is good, but will Chlo and Donte ever get back together? It's not right seeing them apart!

I thought Grantly break dancing was brilliant - certainly showed the "know-it-alls" that he has more to him than it seems

A very poor way of highlighting students making accusations against staff. The assault charge against Jasmine was dealt with appallingly. 3 students would have been separated and interviewed and not been allowed to collaborate. Food for thought for students everywhere as if they need any help!

I have been a big fan of Waterloo Road since the start! My favs have always been the Grainger/Redpaths (now Grainger/Clarksons). Dislike Davina though!! Her digs about Mika are uncalled for... here's me thinking she was a mature adult and Mika was a vulnerable teenager who had been through an awful lot in the past year! Great episode though as always and really enjoyed the break dancing scenes fab!! Go Grantly!!

Loved that episode! Grantly and Steph dancing had me laughing! Once again though the Rachel and Stuart storyline had me screaming. Stuart's putting on the charm and Rachel is falling for it. Stuart might not be after Rachel... it could be Tess as she seems to have the evidence. I've always thought it was Stuart who was out to get Rachel, but something tells me Tess is somehow involved in this. Once again Eva Pope portrayed Rachel brilliantly and it was nice to see Rachel's stronger character coming through. Poor Eddie next week-getting the shock of his life!

Waterloo Road is must see TV. Every week I find myself eager to watch. I've enjoyed every episode of all series to date. I worried when it was losing so many of the much loved characters, but Neil and Eva have a great chemistry on screen, and all of the new characters this series work brilliantly. There have been some top storylines and after each episode, everyone is talking about it at work the next day.

I am really enjoying this series .There is so much going on. I wonder if Michaela will admit that her friend did punch her on purpose because I really don't want to see Jasmine go. And also I wonder how Eddie will react when he sees that Rachel got in trouble with the law.

Grantly!!!! Hahaha. Was that a body double? Such a funny episode. Impressed if that is actually his dancing. Such a good episode. Best one so far!

WOW!! What an episode... I loved it! I feel so sorry for Jasmine and I hope she doesn't leave. I love her relationship with Davina and the way they seem to spend a lot of time gossiping with each other in the staff room (particularly about Tom). It seems to me the Eddie 'has a bit of a thing' for Jasmine... I wonder if love is in the air! I hope it isn't as I think Jasmine needs a more hunky, fit bloke to come along and sweep her off her feet. Tom and Davina should definitely get together properly at the end of this serious... especially now that Chlo and Mika are beginning to come round to the idea. But what's going on with this new building? I don't like Stuart. He seems a bit too sly for me! Rachel needs to be a bit more careful.
Emily, London

Come on Mika and Brett, just get back together already!! This episode was much better than last weeks and I have to say, Tom and Davina, Ewwwwww. I really hope Stuart leaves Rachel alone, that man gives me the creeps. When are Eddie and Rachel going to get together? I think they would make a great couple. I can't wait to see what happens next week. I spent the last few minutes of this episode shouting at the screen and telling Rachel not to fall for the creepy blackmailer Stuart. Well, someone has to tell her!
