Episode 2.12
I'm struggling for words to describe what I feel at the moment. I think that was one of the most dramatic episodes ever... a true finale. It seemed to almost encapsulate the series as a whole; an engrossing mixture of highs and lows. What's more, instead of a clichéd happy ending we got a devastating blow that has absolutely shocked me. Simply stunning television.

Oh no, no why does it always happen? Tom and Izzie, my favourite couple on the show, finally get back together and then tragedy tears them apart forever. The end was really upsetting and shocking; I can't believe Izzie was left to die in Jack's arms. It's not fair, Izzie was one of the best people in the show, and now it seems as though she'll never come back. How can Tom possibly go on without her?

The last episode was amazing! It held me in suspense until the very end. Will Kim and Andrew get together? Can Jack stop the drug dealing and save the school? And then, the shock of Izzie being stabbed and Chlo planning to run away was an unbelievable cliff-hanger. Bring on the next series, that's what I say!

GAH!!! It was NOT meant to end like that!!! Yay, Kim and Andrew action at last. He has to stay... If they do not get together then nothing will make sense in the world. And Izzie getting stabbed... she HAS to live! Bring on series 3!!!

I was expecting the last episode to be good, but that was absolutely amazing! There was so much drama going on, but my favourite bit was when Andrew stood up to Jerry and got a standing ovation. Brilliant! SO HAPPY that he and Kim finally kissed... how long have we been waiting for that? I wonder if she'll go to Africa! And then of course there was the ending, which I really didn't see coming. First Lorna, now Izzie, I just can't believe it!

Waterloo Road is (was!) the best programme on TV! What am I going to do now please? The portrayal of Christian fundamentalism in schools is no doubt going to receive some criticism, but fair play to you; it is very brave to confront such issues. I think Davina is particularly divine and Andrew better come to his senses pretty soon or else! Maybe in the next series Jack's ego will make him disappear up his own backside at long last (he is arrogant in an attractive sort of a way though!) Well done BBC, another blinder. Come back soon.

That was an absolutely amazing episode, from start to finish. I think the issue of Jerry's religious agenda was a very interesting one, and Andrew's speech was nothing short of brilliant - what a legend! It's a shame Jack couldn't have shown the same sort of courage a bit earlier on. Great to see Kim and Andrew together at last, although there's still so many unanswered questions. Will she go to Rwanda and, most shockingly, will Izzie live or die?

Having previously enjoyed the series I watched with increasing dismay at your portrayal of the Christian belief in creation. Why was there no positive display of a person of faith to temper the fundamentalist stance? Darwin's theory of evolution is just that - a theory. Any youngsters watching who are thinking about their faith or lack of it were left in doubt by this programme that Christian faith was not a good thing. There are many positive things which happen in the world as a result of people acting out their Christian faith, yet sadly, for some reason, it doesn't make a good story. I hope you redress the balance in the next series.

Brilliant end of term! Do hope Izzie doesn't peg it as I think her character is an integral part of the drama; in fact, most of the characters seem believable and I could imagine sharing a staffroom with them. The students are also credible, though I'm not sure the Maxines and Janeeces that I have taught would have signed up for Jesus Soc. quite so readily. I really enjoyed the way that contemporary issues, such as the questions over faith schools, academies and fundamentalism in schools, have been woven into the dramatic tapestry of the series. Roll on next term!

Three days on from the final episode and I'm still in shock. It's no exaggeration to say that was one of the best hours of TV drama I have ever seen, and certainly one of the most shocking and unexpected endings. Izzie aside, I loved Lorna's memorial service and the way in which Andrew challenged Jerry. And most importantly it made Kim admit how she felt; I just hope those two have a happy ending, I really do!

What an episode and what an ending! Izzie's stabbing was obviously extremely shocking (and very well acted by Jill Halfpenny and Jason Merrells), but it was still Kim and Andrew who stole the show for me. The chemistry is absolutely electric, they FINALLY get together and then he decides he's off to Rwanda the next day! I actually thought that was out of character behaviour for Andrew, but it made for a good cliff-hanger!

I love the characters in the show and some of the issues covered are relevant in a modern Secondary school. I would, however, like to ask why there is no ethnic diversity reflected in the cohort at Waterloo Road. Is it a conscious decision to omit any different races or religions or an oversight on the part of the programme makers?

Well they saved the best 'til last with this episode. Absolutely brilliant! I didn't think it was possible for me to like Andrew any more than I already did, but then he delivered that fantastic speech. So happy that he and Kim got together at last... that kiss was sizzling! Bring on series three!
Karla, Leamington Spa
An absolutely fantastic, action-packed 60 minutes of TV! I've been waiting a long, long time for Kim and Andrew to get together and it didn't disappoint when they did! Great performances from Angela and Jamie, although they clearly couldn't stop laughing during that kissing scene, which actually made it all the better because it seemed so genuine!
Daisy-May, Hammersmith
That was a sensational ending to a series I have enjoyed very much, but I'm scared that's the last I'm going to see of Andrew Treneman. For me, he has just made the entire show; without him, I'm not sure I'd watch it. So here's hoping he has a change of heart and stays with Kim. Please!

I watched the latest episode (2.12) of Waterloo Road - the first I had ever seen and probably the last - and I was offended by the way the writers had treated the Creationists. Yes, the two Creationists were written as two pretty loony and unattractive characters, but your episode mocked and rubbished them to the point of being offensive, the spin-off (was it deliberate?) being to rubbish Christian faith in general under the guise of entertainment. Would you have risked doing the same with Islamic fundamentalism? No, I bet you wouldn't. My guess is that you'd duck out of that one, even though it's very relevant in today's multi-racial and multi-faith society. So what is your agenda when it comes to people's beliefs?

Another fab Series is over and I can't wait for the next one to start. PLEASE don't let Izzie die!!! Waterloo Road "Grange Hill for Grown Ups" Brilliant
