Your Reviews - Series Five
Episode 5.6
Waterloo Road is a fantastic programme, with many talented actors and actresses. The writers always involve gripping storylines into the programme. They promote very difficult issues in which they highlight to their viewers to make the viewers more aware of things. Series 5 is very strange to the previous series on the BBC. I don't understand how Neil Morrissey’s character has suddenly disappeared along with many of the other teachers that were in the last series. Who are all these new characters and where have they suddenly all sprung up from. I just don’t get it. So far, this series has more or less drifted away from all the other series. We'll have to see how the rest of this series goes...?

I think its great the way Waterloo Road relates to real life situations like being in care, problems at home and problems against friends - It makes it a lot more realistic. It’s a great drama that keeps you in suspense until the next episode. The only problem is that it only shows 20 episodes a series. It would be great if there were more! :)

The new series is by far the most exciting and entertaining of all 5 series. The new characters bring a fresh twist to the already gripping series. Eva Pope is the highlight of the show, her portrayal of Rachel Mason is so believable...Herself and Tom Chambers are an exciting duo. It however has to be said she needs a more leading role, she for many is one of the main reasons for watching....Her fan base is extensive and I feel she hasn't had the significant airtime she deserves. I look forward to the series progressing, to see how her character develops confidence to tackle Max. William Ash is amazing, as has been Jenna Louise Coleman. Waterloo Road have seriously delivered on quality acting for series 5. I feel it’s going to be the best yet!!!
