Episode 4.20

I absolutely love 'Waterloo Road' and I have been a fan from the first episode ever.  My favourite characters are Rachel and Eddie: Eva Pope and Neil Morrissey have had fab chemistry from minute 1 and although I enjoyed Series 1 and 2, I much prefer ‘Reddie's’ reign over Waterloo Road Comp. I love their romance, the 'will they, won't they?' is so compelling and you just root for them as they give WR all its heart and poignancy.  I think it is a mistake to get rid of either of them, but it's obviously going to happen.  I really like the pace of the show and I think Denise Welch always gives a good performance making viewers experience a range of emotions. Being interested in music as well, I love the soundtrack. Keep up the good work everyone and congratulations on a great series, but I wish Neil Morrissey wouldn't go!

Just watched the final episode... lots of drama... and I am glad that Andrew decided to come back! Maybe the new deputy head next year?? I can't wait for the new series to start!

Brilliant!! Brilliant!! Brilliant!! My Wednesday evenings would not be the same without Waterloo Road. In fact now it's the end of Series 4 they are going to be very lonely indeed! Well done to the AMAZING Cast Hope to see them all back for Series 5!

4.20: Another dramatic ending to a term at Waterloo Road, Yes I can truly say how gripping this episode was. I was nearly in tears when I saw Ralph Mellor trash the building, but as Rachel says 'There will always be a Waterloo Road' and my reply can only be 'LONG LIVE WATERLOO ROAD'

It is a great series that certainly carries on where Grange Hill left off - it's probably the most exciting school in the world and all the twists and turns in the story make it compulsive viewing! My favourite character has to be Rose Kelly - she has got such a sweet, pretty, school-girl type presence to her - she's very feisty, sweet and obviously cares very much for her wayward family. I'd love to see her & Tom hook up... maybe that's in the pipeline?  I'll never know until it happens!! Keep up the great work!!  A great show!

I thought Episode 20 was brilliant but I’m so sad that Rachel and Eddie didn't get a happy ending - I was even crying at the end! Eva Pope is an amazing actress and I'm glad she will be in Series 5. Can't wait to see what happens with the school merger. Well done to all the actors and writers for another superb series!

OMG!!! That was the most tense episode ever, I was literally on the edge of my seat when Rachel was in front of the bulldozer. I am so glad that Rachel and Eddie didn't get hurt but was devastated when they split up. I REALLY hope Neil Morrissey is returning for series 5 and Rachel and Eddie get back together :):):) x

Please tell me this means Andrew is back for the next series? The show is so much better with him and Kim in it - takes me back to the good old days! And it doesn't hurt that Jamie Glover is totally gorgeous! Can't say I'll miss Eddie much, but it's sad that pupils like Chlo, Donte and Janeece are leaving. Matt, Steph and Grantly are also great characters and provide much needed comedy value. All in all, a great finale.

I should have been disappointed with that final episode. Too much was packed in, it was too rushed, too corny, and the JCB storyline was ridiculous. But I can forgive all that, purely because Andrew is back and looking hotter than ever! OK, so very few of the teachers at Waterloo Road have fallen off the ugly tree but he is particularly easy on the eye. Kim's a lucky girl! Together they're the best couple on TV. Hope they're in the next series.

This series of Waterloo Road has been absolutely fantastic and I have loved every single episode! From the arrival of the Kellys at the beginning through to the destruction of the school at the end, this series has continually given us the excitement, drama and enjoyment that make Waterloo Road so incredible.

This episode has been full of mixed emotions. The joy of winning the choir competition was quickly cut short by the worry for the well-being of the school and then to being terrified for Rachel as she took a stand and stood up for her school. I am extremely upset about Eddie and Rachel splitting up but I admire their loyalties and the way that they both took responsibility both for the school and the baby.

Although I am really sad that this series has ended but I am very much looking forward to the new term of Waterloo Road and hope that it brings along another fantastic set of episodes at the high standards that it has set itself. :)

Waterloo Road is BRILL!!! I'm loving Kim and Andrew getting together. They make the world’s best pair. Mellissa being pregnant was a huge blow for Rachel and Eddie. Please don't let them separate. I've been waiting ages for them to go out with each other. I absolutely hate Melissa! She's ruined everything for Rachel and Eddie. I'm so glad Ralph (Flick's dad) went to jail. He deserves it after what he did to poor Marley. The acting in Waterloo Road is the best. Can't wait for Series 5!

I love Waterloo Road, it is the most amazing programme ever and I am so sad that Series 4 is already over. Can’t wait for Series 5, although I’m going to miss Chlo, Donte and Janeece. It was really cute when Chlo and Donte bought Izzie into school and the choir were great. I can’t believe Ralph actually knocked the front of the school down and that they found out Flick cheated. Keep up the good work for series 5!!!

Such a shame Waterloo Road has finished, it feels like 20 weeks have just flown by. Really upset that Neil Morrissey is leaving and that ‘Reddie’ have split up after such a short amount of time. Episode 20 was heartbreaking, but I really enjoyed it. Only problem is; no more Waterloo Road on a Wednesday night. What am I going to do without Steph’s constant gossiping or Grantly being grumpy for the next few months? Bring on Series 5!

OMG! I absolutely love Waterloo Road. I actually never miss an episode (: The final epsiode of Series 4 was so sad, why did Mellissa have to come back?Poor Rachel and Eddie, I love them. I hope Eddie does come back for Series 5 even though it says he isn't: Waterloo Road would is so much better with Rachel and Eddie both there, it probably wouldn't even be the same if Rachel was there and Eddie wasn't :/ but apart from that, Waterloo Road is fab, I LOVE it :D xxx

Yes, yes, yes!! Andrew stayed! :D Surely that must mean he's in series 5!? I really hope so. The relationship between Kim and Andrew is just immense - I love the onscreen chemistry between Angela Griffin and Jamie Glover. Just brilliant. I've never been a Rachel/Eddie fan, so I really didn't care that they split up. I like how the episode had an element of sadness but focused more on the 'togetherness' of the school - it sets it up nicely for series 5. Can't wait. Counting down the days until Waterloo Road is back! :D

This series was great, from the Eddie/Rachel/Melissa love triangle, to Chlo and Donte’s parenthood, Tom and Rose after Davina left, and of course, baby Grace. Not forgetting the tragic death of Maxine – RIP – and the many great storylines in between. And I’m so glad that Rachel survived the last episode! Can’t wait for Series 5!

We love Waterloo Road, but to be honest we don't think Eddie and Rachel should have split up. We also don't think you should have ended it with just the school being knocked down because we wanted to see everybody at the leavers party. Apart from that, we loved it. We wish Neil Morrissey was staying, he’s just such a good actor. We also love Grantly as well, he’s just so funny and grumpy, which is what you need in a program like this, and the song he made up 'This place is a dump, It gives you the hump' - we just couldn't stop laughing. can't wait till Series 5, although we’re going to miss Donte, Chlo, Janeece and the rest, they were the best characters.

Waterloo Road finished on another high. Cannot wait for Series 5. Ralph Mellor deserves everything he gets; just feel sorry for poor Flick. I couldn’t believe Melissa was pregnant and that Rachel and Eddie split up – they were so good together. Don’t leave, Eddie! Roll on the next series, such a shame it’s not on once a week

Episode 20 was excellent and I can't believe Series 4 is over already!! I enjoyed every episode. I am neither a teacher or a pupil, but Waterloo Road captured my imagination from Series 1. The fabulous ‘Reddie’ storyline which was cultivated over series 3&4 has been captivating and heartbreaking thanks to the very fine acting and on screen chemistry of Eva Pope and Neil Morrissey. I hope(despite the absence of  Neil Morrissey in Series 5) that the writers will tidy up this storyline and provide the viewers with an 'illusion' of happiness for this fab couple in the next series!! Melissa holds the key to a resolution, assuming of course she is returning in Series 5... I am looking forward to the next series.

Another fantastic series finale, but we wish things were ending differently for Rachel and Eddie. Eva Pope and Neil Morrissey had such great on screen chemistry and their characters relationship was really gripping, and will definitely be missed next series. Those last scenes of them actually had the whole room in tears (we all practically had a party for this episode! Lol) So yes, looking forward to the next series, from what we hear there's going to be a lot of changes and we're all interested to see how everything pans out. :):) Good Luck with filming and we all wish we lived in Manchester so we could be extras!
