Episode 4.13

Last night (4.13) was really good! It was odd not seeing Rachel though. I felt that more could of been done to remember Max, she seems to of been forgotten about. Kim’s right about school uniform they are there for a reason!! Next week looks even better, well done for making it interesting again!!

Last night's episode was excellent!! I loved the storyline with the travellers and am a bit sad that they left at the end! Even though i felt sorry for Kyle and the others I still love Paul! It was hilarious when he got soaked but felt sorry for him too! I really want Marley and Flick get back together and I’m so happy that Rose went to that AA meeting so that she doesn't get drunk again! Bring on next Wednesday!!

So far this series has shown alcoholism, arson, bigamy, bigotry, blackmail, breast enlargement, bullying, death, drugs, deceit, eviction, guns, homosexuals, homophobes, illegitimate children, manipulation, prejudice, psychopaths, sex, stereotyping and thieving - just another term in a typical School.

I hadn't seen Waterloo Road for a while but my son (16) is a huge fan so I decided to tune in.  I have enjoyed the storylines and found the show entertaining/informative and sometimes shocking! (BUT) Rather than having a Chloe storyline of 'must go to Uni' a path which, unfortunately, is not the answer to many dreams, it would be great to see students realising that there are ways and means of, in this case, having a baby, studying for professional qualifications, working and avoiding debt by not going to 'Uni'.

I work for an organisation (www.ilex.org.uk) that offers training for wannabe lawyers, outside of University.  I meet kids in this kind of situation constantly and the relief on their faces when they hear of the 'alternative' makes my job worthwhile. I know that for many the work/life/study balance is hard but, in my opinion, well worth it - and would probably make good TV.

Thought this week's episode was really good with the introduction of the travellers, especially Kyle.  I thought he was really good and should be kept in.

The moment where the water fell through the roof onto Paul's head was the best moment of television all year! The timing was perfect and the whole episode with Grantley's un-PC comments was hilarious. However, when Kyle free-styled his poetry and then Sambuca turned it into a rap later it was painfully embarrassing! Eddie trying to be head teacher whilst avoiding staring at Janeece's chest was brilliant, although Rachel definitely needs to come back next week, preferably along with Security Dave whose absence is heartbreaking. Another great episode but not sure what's going to happen with Phil and Flick!

Wednesday's episode (4.13) was the best since the one with Maxine's death (4.8). I thought the storyline was great and loved the fling between Sam and Kyle, shame it had to end. Waterloo Road is the best thing on TV at the moment. I am going to buy all the box sets, I have Series 3 Autumn Term and I've got Series 1 on order. All the actors and actresses are great. Keep up the good work and I can't wait for Series 5, let’s hope the storylines are just as good, even better. :D

I preferred Waterloo Road when Jason Merrells was the headmaster.  I do not like Rose or her family and they have not added to the present series. Also, the teacher who left to have a baby, and has now returned, has monopolised the programme. The storylines now seem so unbelievable and I think the way the pupils behave and speak to their teachers is a bad example to the children who watch the series.
