WHAT HAPPENED TO MIKA AT THE END OF LAST SERIES?
After the rollercoaster ride that was last series, towards the end Mika finally had plenty to smile about! Izzie and Tom had announced to the girls they were to get married and things were on fine form with Brett!! Despite all the family had gone through, they were finally settling and happy and things were looking up.

DO YOU THINK MIKA HAS CHANGED AT ALL?
I think as I result of Izzie's death Mika has matured a lot and especially with the impending wedding, takes on the responsibility of trying to help Chlo and Tom's relationship in the run up. But Mika is still so young, and she is vulnerable, having to deal with the tragedy of her mum's death. Yet she still has that attitude I know and love about her. With regards to Brett, she has learnt how to understand and humour him, they share a mutual respect, but how long will it all last!!!

HOW IS MIKA COPING WITH THE LOSS OF HER MUM?
She is coping the best she can, she has to. Her and Chlo's relationship has grown and they have become closer, as she has with Tom as he tries to cope with the tragedy. The girls are so grateful for all Tom's done for them and are extremely protective over him as they see him as their father figure.

MIKA IS DATING BRETT - WILL THE RELATIONSHIP LAST?
Well it's certainly tested!!! Despite what Brett and Chlo have done to Mika, when a lot of the issues get resolved, and when she is thrown into the musical and art seems to replicate life, she does find it hard to fight the feelings she has for Brett. They did have a fun, loving relationship and more than that they had a friendship, and as time goes on that is what she misses. But Mika is strong and determined to fight her feelings as she was so heartbroken at what he did to her. It won't happen overnight, and he will have to prove his feelings to her.

HOW DOES MIKA FEEL WHEN SHE DISCOVERS HER SISTER HAS BEEN WITH BRETT?
When Mika discovers Chlo has slept with Brett, firstly she is totally and utterly shocked and confused, which is pretty sharply followed by anger! Mika is devastated and humiliated and has so much hatred towards Brett and Chlo, more so Chlo as they are sisters and after everything they have gone through together she is extremely bitter towards her.

WHAT HAVE YOU ENJOYED MOST ABOUT RECORDING WATERLOO ROAD?
The crew are just fantastic, they work so hard and are all so talented and great people to work with, from the drivers that pick me up in the morning, to the make up and wardrobe departments who make us scrub up the best that's physically possible!! And then lighting who try and make us look that bit better! Then there's the ad's that make sure we know what we're doing, and then the directors and producers that bring everything together, they are just a fantastic crew to be a part of!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE STORYLINE THIS SERIES?
My favourite storyline would have to be Brett and Chlo, as it gave me such an array of emotions to work with as Mika is completely thrown into oblivion. The storyline lasts for the majority of the first part of the series so there was plenty of exploring to do! But overall looking at all the storylines throughout the series I just love so many, the new characters are great, Bolton Smilie and his antics along with my old favourites like Lewis Seddon and Steph Haydock who keep me giggling!

WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING IN WATERLOO ROAD?
I always feel so privileged that I have had the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast, I learn so much from working with the likes of Denise Welch, Jason Merrels and Jason Done it is something I am so grateful for.

WHAT DID YOU DO BETWEEN SERIES?
I performed in a play in my hometown of Manchester, which was great experience for me and lots of fun!! I also did a little travelling too, well more holidaying!! I went over to Cyprus with my best friend Holly, which was great for relaxing and we managed to fit in a little partying! I then went over to Cape Town, South Africa, which was just beautiful, we went up Table Mountain and looked out over amazing views including Camps Bay and over to Robben Island. We walked along the most amazing beaches, South Africa is such a wonderful country with so much history, the people were so wonderfully welcoming and friendly it was just a beautiful place.

WHAT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP LIKE WITH THE REST OF THE CAST?
The cast on Waterloo Road are so welcoming and friendly it's difficult not to get along with everybody!! Denise is great fun, Jason Done gets me giggling and Tom enjoys winding me up on a daily basis, so there's lots to keep us entertained! I do miss having Jill, Angela, Jamie and Camilla around though they were great fun to have on set and always kept us smiling!

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PROJECTS LINED UP AFTER WATERLOO ROAD HAS FINISHED FILMING?
Nothing is set in stone yet but fingers crossed!
