Absolutely. Everyone should have access to the mainstream system.

Yes.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE STORYLINE COMING UP?
The relationship with Jack and of course, working with Karla. It's an interesting role for Davina as she tries to find her feet as a teaching assistant and the dynamics working with other staff members.

Definitely the cast and crew - they're great!

Get another job! Explore new roles and perhaps theatre.

Davina relates best to Jack as they get on so well and challenge each other.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST PROFESSIONAL ACTING ROLE?
It was a two-part Drama, called 'The Leaving of Liverpool' I was fourteen and at a drama group when I was cast. It was a great opportunity and we filmed in Australia. It was about orphans shipped out to Australia in the 1950s and the hardship they went through. It was amazing to have got that opportunity.

WHAT ROLE ARE YOU BEST KNOWN FOR?
I have no idea! I suppose various things I've done. Dalziel and Pascoe, Fat Friends to name a few.

HOW DO YOU KEEP IN SHAPE?
I swim and I also enjoy long walks.

WATERLOO ROAD IS FILMED IN ROCHDALE NEAR MANCHESTER, ARE YOU ENJOYING LIVING AND WORKING AROUND MANCHESTER?
Yes I love Manchester, it's a great city and the atmosphere is wonderful. I love working here - also it's not far home to Liverpool where I was brought up.

HAVE YOU MANAGED TO SEE MUCH OF THE LOCAL AREA?
Sadly no, as I've spent most of the time in the school so I've not seen much of the surrounding area to Rochdale. But I do know and love Manchester.
