Steph is basically a rubbish French teacher! She's mid-forties, very flirty, and has just been dumped after a nine-year relationship with a married man. She fancies Jack, the headmaster and uses all of her "assets" to try and woo him.

DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTER IN 3 WORDS:
Delusional, funny, mad.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT STEPH?
She's quite camp and she;s entertaining although often at other people's expense. I like the comedic aspects of the character. I hope we see another sadder side to her.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE LEAST ABOUT STEPH?
She's older than the others!

WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR CHARACTER IF YOU MET THEM?
I don't know yet but I would enjoy watching her operate.

HOW ARE YOU SIMILAR OR DIFFERENT TO STEPH?
We both have bleached hair and both of us are flirts. It ends there though.

DOES YOUR CHARACTER HAVE A LOVE INTEREST?
Steph is determined to woo Jack. Jack is attractive physically and he has quite an aloof side which Steph is desperate to break through.

WHICH CHARACTER AT WATERLOO ROAD DOES STEPH RELATE TO BEST?
Steph hasn't really got a best friend at Waterloo Road but she thinks she's popular with everyone. The teachers do have a fondness for her.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN A VICTIM OF BULLYING?
I was a victim of bullying one time but I told my mum and she came to school, held his ear and made me kick him!

Tell someone in the family or at school.

I hope so.

I made a film here with Jason Merrells a couple of years ago and I'm patron to the Gem Appeal charity here.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST PROFESSIONAL ACTING ROLE?
Playing a spirit in children's theatre at Watford.

Probably Natalie in Corrie.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE STORYLINE COMING UP AND WHY?
I don't know what is in store but I'm enjoying Steph's relentless pursuit of Jack.

WHAT HAVE YOU ENJOYED MOST ABOUT RECORDING WATERLOO ROAD?
I've got several mates in it - Jason, Angela and Jill. I used to help Jill and Ant & Dec with their homework in Byker Grove!

DID YOU GET AWAY ON HOLIDAY LAST YEAR?
I went to Egpyt, Turkey and Dubai on holiday and Cyprus and Istanbul to work. I'm happier by a pool in the sun with my family.

DO YOU HAVE ANY NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS?
I don't make New Years Resolutions - I never keep them.

To earn the money back our house extension has cost us!
