GIVE A DESCRIPTION OF THE CHARACTER YOU PLAY:
I play Donte Charles, one of the students at Waterloo Road who thinks he can do what ever he wants and get away with it. He is cocky to all the teachers, especially Mr Treneman. He doesn't care about school - all he cares about is himself and his girlfriend Chlo.

DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTER IN 3 WORDS:
Selfish, arrogant and the class clown.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DONTE?
I like the fact that Donte has attitude and in class thinks he's "it". It's good to play a character like this because he was a lot like me at school - the class clown!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE LEAST ABOUT DONTE?
I don't like that Donte is spoilt and thinks he can get away with everything. It's when he realises that he can't that his attitude starts to change.

WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR CHARACTER IF YOU MET THEM?
Yes, I think I would get on with him well.

WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERS LIFE VALUES AND DO THESE DIFFER FROM YOUR OWN?
I think in the first episode, Donte takes life for granted but certain events force him to change this feeling.

HOW ARE YOU SIMILAR OR DIFFERENT TO THE CHARACTER YOU ARE PLAYING?
I'm similar in most ways to Donte. At school Donte wants to be the popular kid, which is the same as when I was at school. But Donte goes the wrong way to being popular and ends up with everyone hating him.

DOES YOUR CHARACTER HAVE LOVE INTEREST?
Donte has a girlfriend called Chlo and he is madly in love with her. But this love is put to the test when they fall in to a desperate situation.

WHY DO YOU THINK DONTE IS ATTRACTED TO CHLO?
I think the attraction comes from Chlo being a bit of a rebel, like Donte and this looks cool in front of people at school.

WHICH CHARACTER AT WATERLOO ROAD DOES YOUR CHARACTER RELATE TO BEST?
Donte gets on best with Chlo - they talk about everything and are very loyal to each other.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN A VICTIM OF BULLYING?
I did get bullied at school but the people who were bullying me ended up by best mates and we are still friends to this day.

Stay strong and let them know who you are.

I was bought up in Salford, Manchester.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW?
I live in Stockport now.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST PROFESSIONAL ACTING ROLE?
I played a guest lead in "Doctors".

WERE YOU A MEMBER OF THE DRAMA CLUB ETC AT SCHOOL?
No, drama clubs weren't really my thing.

WHAT HAVE YOU ENJOYED MOST ABOUT RECORDING WATERLOO ROAD?
I have enjoyed most aspects - there is a lot of waiting around in between scenes but that's part of the job.

DID YOU HAVE A HOLIDAY LAST YEAR?
I went to Marbella with my brother Scott and my two mates. It was brilliant but a bit too expensive. There were lots of girls though!

HAVE YOU ANY LONG TERM GOALS OR AMBITIONS FOR THE FUTURE?
I would love to do films but one step at a time.
