Named after her mum’s favourite drink, fourteen year old Sambuca is essentially a good kid who often finds herself drawn into trouble by the tough Waterloo Road environment. Sam is used to fighting her own corner and as a result springs to the defensive a little too readily as witnessed last term when she got mixed up with the girl gangs.
Sam carries a massive crush on Bolton, well who wouldn’t? He’s the fittest boy in school. It’s not just his looks that attract her though – she loves his competitive spirit and recognizes a fellow love for mischief. But as best mate Lauren is so eager to point out, this guy seems to be well out of her league and as Sam makes her feelings known she’s likely to get burned.
