Paul’s always played second fiddle to his best mate Bolton, in both the confidence and looks department. Having lost his mother at an early age to suicide, he was placed in the care of his uncle Dermot who became increasingly abusive towards Paul. His troubled childhood has given Paul a deep routed dislike of confrontation, but that’s not to say this isn’t a young man who doesn’t know his own mind.

This term Paul will have an opportunity to turn the tables on Bolton when he finds himself lined up to take Sam to the prom. With two guys vying for the same girl it’ll test Paul’s loyalty – just how much is he willing to give up for his best friend?
